Magnus came into my life as a puppy about 12 and a half years ago when I graduated college. He was the ring bearer at our wedding and he lived in three cities and three states in his lifetime. He helped us welcome a son into our lives, and guarded that baby (and licked food off his face) like he was his own pup. Magnus loved herding other dogs at the park and stealing food whenever and however he could. Right up until the end he gave kisses vigorously and would wiggle his whole corgi body with joy upon meeting new people. He was, like all dogs, the best dog. Magnus, we love you forever and always.
