Dear Dr. Katie,
I was blessed with one of the most special dogs on the planet. When the time came that he was no longer enjoying himself and was feeling poorly, your support and comforting strength made a devastating day more bearable. It is hard to find the words to convey exactly how important that is to me.

Thank you for doing what you do-
I truly mean all that, it’s not just a tribute for the site….

I had to have my 21 year old cat, Sorrow, put to rest in 2010. I contacted Dr. Hilst and she was very compassionate. When she came to the house, she answered our questions and told us what to expect with the procedure. She thoughtfully brought clay to make an imprint of my cat’s paw, which I hadn’t thought of and would have deeply regretted not getting. She helped make the end of life for a cat, who I shared two decades with, as positive experience as it could have been.
