It was an extremely tough decision for me to come to the conclusion that my 20 year old cat, Hook, was reaching the end of her life. She had been a very healthy cat up until the last year, so a trip to the vet was very rare for her. I dreaded the thought of having her last moments in a cold, sterile vet’s office, where I’m sure she would have been stressed and scared. I am so thankful that I found Journeys Home. Dr. Laura couldn’t have been more sweet and compassionate. In spite of the very sad, difficult situation, I felt a little more at ease.

I wanted to thank Dr. Laura for helping Indie leave us peacefully. Dr. Laura was remarkable in that she made one of the most difficult moments of my life, that I was fearing would be beyond horrific, into something bearable and peaceful.
