I truly feel God brought Annie into my husband’s and my life for a reason. We both loved her but my husband absolutely lost his heart to her with all his being. For me, she was to bring me lessons, continuously, on how to better understand the families of the patients whom I helped at our veterinary clinic. My compassion, empathy, and understanding grew immensely thanks to Annie. She was not an easy pet and one of the most difficult patients I’ve ever dealt with. She helped me to grow and become a better person and a better RVT. I am truly thankful that she came to us and for all the years we had together.
