You were my constant companion through middle school, high school, and college. I waited this long to write this because losing you has been the hardest thing to happen to me.
How can I thank you for being there through the most tumultuous times? Through the happy times? How can I thank you for saving me from suicide and for grounding me when I had my PTSD flashbacks? How can I thank you for letting me put a bow tie on you for wedding photos?
I miss you more than words can express. I wear your ashes around my neck so we can go on new adventures, but deep down, I know that I would rather have you in my arms, binge watching Netflix, and eating Hot Cheetos together.
I love you.
