Makoui was to turn 19 years old this month. I had rescued her when she was 8 months old. She was sassy, just like myself and knew what she wanted. She was my biggest cheerleader.
Today was one of the hardest days of life saying goodbye. I looked at my phone and told Dr. Laura that it was 11:11 and I was ready and okay.
I was lucky to have Makoui in my life for so incredibly long and to share so many life milestones with her!!
